The heavy duty stainless steel gas burner offers excellent energy saving power efficiency. The oven also come fitted with a cast iron gas plate allowing excellent heat distribution.
The most recent version is constructed with sufficient insulation to keep heat from escaping and, when the heat is set to the lowest setting, to stay warmer for longer. When utilising our stainless steel cover, which helps keep heat from escaping, it only takes 15 minutes to heat up. Tandoor ovens are great for cooking because, once heated to the right temperature, they stay that way for hours without requiring more fuel. This is one of its key advantages. All tandoors must have a flame failure safety device installed. With the gastronorm containers affixed to the back of the tandoor and a manual temperature gauge attached to the front, it can reach 450 degrees when left on full heat.
